Biography
Anastasia Moskvina graduated from the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts as a theatre director in 1995 and from the Belarusian State Academy of Music as a vocalist in 2001. Nowadays, she is an associate professor of the Vocal Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
The singer’s répertoire includes Nedda in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, Aida in Verdi’s Aida, Leonora in Verdi’s Il trovatore, Liu in Puccini’s Turandot, Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème, Senta in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer, Countess in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Rosalinde in Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, Reiza in Weber’s Oberon, Tatiana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Iolanta in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Lisa in Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades, Kupava in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden, Yaroslavna in Borodin’s Prince Igor, Princess in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Kashchey the Deathless, Zemfira in Rachmaninoff’s Aleko, Lyuba in Fenelon’s Cherry Orchard (world première), Irina in Smolsky’s Grey Legend, Nadezhda Yanovskaya in Soltan’s King Stakh’s Wild Hunt, as well as soprano solos in requiems by Verdi and Mozart, Orf’s Carmina Burana, and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.
Since 2002, she has been a soloist of the Belorussian Opera Theatre. She has performed at the Bolshoi Theatre and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, Azerbaijan Opera Theatre in Baku, at the Residence of the British Queen in Edinburgh, as well as at the various international festivals: in Miskolc, Bangkok, Minsk, and Linz among others. The singer has cooperated with Christoph-Mathias Mueller, Tito Ceccherini, Mikhail Granovsky, Mikhail Pletnev, and other renowned conductors. She has appeared with the New Russia Orchestra, Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, and Gottingen Symphony Orchestra among others.
