Popular overtures, love arias and duets from the famous operas such as Manon, Rigoletto, Werther and L'elisir d'amore can be heard this evening, as well as hits of the Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet, including highlight of this opera, the newlyweds’ duet Nuit d'Hymenee. When this opera was premiered in Paris, this scene was interrupted by the audience’s ovation and performed again from the beginning.
