She graduated from the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Bilkent University. At the Horn Symposium, she won a scholarship that allowed her to play in the International Youth Symphony Orchestra in Bayreuth. The next scholarship gave her the opportunity to play in orchestras in the USA. After settling in Istanbul, she received a master's degree and began playing in various Turkish symphony orchestras. Since 2004, she has been teaching at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where she was awarded the title of professor.
