Biography

Graduated from the Kazan I.V. Aukhadeyev College of Music in the class of K. Shcherbinina and continued her studies at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of People’s Artist of the RSFSR, Professor G. Pisarenko. Between 2015 and 2017, she completed an internship at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Center under the guidance of People’s Artist of the RSFSR M. Kasrashvili and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation B. Maisuradze. Albina Latipova is a laureate of the first degree of the International Piano&Voice Competition and winner of the Grand Prix of the International Nina Dorliak Chamber Singing Competition. In 2016, as part of the youth program of the Salzburg Festival (Young Singers Project), she took part in the opera The Fairy-Queen by Purcell and in the summer music festival in Ravello.

Since December 2017, she has been a soloist with the opera company of the Bolshoi Theater, where she has appeared as Corinna in Il viaggio a Reims, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, the Swan Princess in The Tale of Tsar Saltan, Héro in Béatrice et Bénédict, a Voice from Heaven and a Page in Don Carlos, Prilepa in The Queen of Spades, Xenia in Boris Godunov, Ginevra in Ariodante, Brigitte in Iolanta, Sofia in Semyon Kotko, and Lyudmila in Ruslan and Lyudmila.

The singer’s concert repertoire includes Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah, Mozart’s Mass in C minor Beethoven’s Mass in C major, Brahms’s German Requiem, Vivaldi’s cantata Gloria, Saint-Saëns’s Christmas Oratorio, Schumann’s oratorio Paradise and the Peri, and numerous romances and vocal cycles, including Mussorgsky’s The Nursery, and Ravel’s Shéhérazade and Cinq mélodies populaires grecques.

She has performed at the festivals Opera Apriori in Moscow, Crazy Days in Yekaterinburg, Rachmaninov. Facets in Kazan, Diaghilev. P.S. in St. Petersburg, and the Richter Festival in Tarusa, as well as in the Cathedral Square of the Tula Kremlin in the project Glinka Gala. In her numerous chamber programs, Albina Latipova’s partners were pianists Y. Martynov, Y. Katsnelson, A. Goribol, M. Yemelyanychev, A. Genuishene, E. Lopukhina, A. Melnikov, P. Kopachevsky, and A. Lazgiyan, as well as clarinetist I. Fedorov. Albina Latipova sang under the baton of V. Gergiev, P. Sorokin, A. Rudin, A. Sladkovsky, A. Abashev, G. Capuano, J. Bernàcer, D. Liss, A. Vereshchagin, P. Romanenko, P. Chizhevsky, and M. Tsinman.

Albina Latipova was shortlisted for the Casta Diva opera award in the Takeoff 2021 category. She was a nominee for the Art Theater Award (2023) for her role as Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. 

September 2025 is marked by Albina's first CD with the pianist Yuri Martynov—the concert recording of the Lullaby programme has been released by Firma Melodiya and Apriori Arts Agency within the live-CD’ series Melodiya apriori.
