Biography

He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Eliso Virsaladze, at the Strasbourg Conservatory under Eduard Mirzoyan and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels under Daniel Blumenthal. Laureate of the international competition in Leeds (United Kingdom, 1996). He performed solo concerts and with various orchestras in many countries around the world. He has always paid particular attention to chamber music. Among his regular partners are violinist Ilya Gringolts, soprano Juliana Bance, cellist Louise Hopkins, the Irish Chamber Orchestra. He participated in many international festivals, including festivals in Miami, Bad Kissingen, Schleswing-Holstein, Bad Vershofen, Salzburg, Ruhr, Davos and others. In 2006, he toured Saint Petersburg with violinist Ilya Gringotts, performing all of Beethoven's Sonatas for Piano and Violin in three days. He is currently a professor at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and the Berne School of Music and Theatre.
