Marek Jerie
Biography
Marek Jerie is one of the most accomplished cellists of his generation. He studied at the Prague Academy of Music and perfected his technique in master classes with Casals, Rostropovich and Navarra. Marek Jerie has performed as soloist and chamber musician in most European countries, as well as in the Middle and Far East and South America. Until 2013 Marek Jerie held a professorship at the Academy of Music in Lucerne.
