Andrei Dunaev graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. He is a winner of several international competitions and is the leading soloist of the German opera in Dusseldorf, where he has performed leading roles in operas by Mozart, Verdi, Donizetti and Shostakovich.
Since 2010, he has also been a member of the cast of Semperoper in Dresden. He sang the role of Lensky in the Bolshoi Th eatrе with great success, and in this role has toured Japan, Italy, Spain and the UK. The singer has performed at La Scala, the State Opera House of Frankfurt, Deutsche Oper Berlin, theatres of Graz, Geneva, Lisbon, Los Angeles and Basel as well as participated in the Glyndeborne opera festival and the BBC Proms.
