Biography

Olga Shurshina was born in St. Petersburg. In 2000 she graduated with honors from the vocal department of the Music School named after N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov.

From 2001 to 2006, she was a soloist of the Academy of Young Opera Singers of the Mariinsky Theater. The participant of the master-classes of recognized masters - Bruno Campanella, Vladimir Atlantov, Gustav Dyups’obakka, Renata Scotto, Ileana Cotrubas, Mati Palm, Grace Bambri, Angelo Gabrielli, etc.

Seasons 2018-2021 - Soloist of the Landestheater Coburg. Soloist of the Mozart Festival in Schwetzingen. (Germany 2018)

Member of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia since 2015.

Founder of the Riomaggiore Music Festival (Italy. Since 2019)

Winner of numerous international competitions in Russia and Europe, such as Miriam Helin (Helsinki) and N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (St. Petersburg). And also a multiple nominee of International Prizes and a participant in music festivals.

Worked with such conductors as: Leo Kremer, Kai Buman, Roland Kluttig, Johannes Braun, Fabio Mastrangelo, Bruno Campanella, Pertti Pekkanen, Matias Breitsñhaft, Muhai Tang, Angelo Gabrielli , Mirca Rosciani, Valery Gergiev, Pavel Bubelnikov, Anatoly Rybalko, Dmitri Hohlov, etc..

Since 2006 - the soloist of the State Musical Theater "Zazerkalie", as well as a guest soloist of theaters in Russia. From 2006 to 2011 - founder and lead singer of the Theater “Nord Venice Opera”. Since 2010, he has been a regular participant in the concert programs of the Philharmonic Society of St. Petersburg. She tours with solo programs in Russia, Finland, Italy and Germany.
