Martino Pòrcile
Biography
Martino Pòrcile was born in Trieste in 1969.
Graduated from the G. Tartini Conservatorio of Trieste, where he graduated in Organ and organ composition with Maestro Marcello Girotto. In Trieste he attended also Choral music and Composition.
Martino Pòrcile has taken courses on organ methodology and execution and interpretation in Italy and abroad with the following well-known Masters: L. Ghielmi, H. Vogel, M. Radulescu, W. Zerer, Ch. Stembridge.
Martino Pòrcile played at important Italian and foreign Festivals both as a soloist and in ensemble. With his italian collegue Giuliana Maccaroni has a duo for organ for four hands. They participated in important international organ festivals in Italy and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, United States of America, Republic of Andorra, Norway, Belgium, Russia).
He taught music (Organ, Piano, Choir, Band, musical education) in many schools.
He is very interested in promotion and valorisation of the musical patrimony of his own region. He catalogued Gorizia diocese’s organs and he restored some historical organs.
Martino Pòrcile has been the regular organist of many Churches and conductor of many choirs. Actually is the Kapellmeister of Pesaro Cathedral; he also is a choirist of the gregorian choir “Tonus Peregrinus”.
