Biography

Arsenii Mun is  studying now in St.Petersburg(Russia) with professor Alexander Sandler.

He won many major competitions such as “Horowitz competition”(1st Prize), Yamaha music competition”(Winner) ,”piano e-competition”(3d Prize), “Cliburn junior competition”(2nd Prize), “Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam”(1st Prize), “St.Priest international piano competition” (1st Prize) He made his concerto debut in 2009 in the Grand hall of St.Petersburg philharmonic with Temirkanov's

Academic symphony orchestra and solo recital debut in 2012 in Mozart house in Vienna.

Arsenii is laureate of Maestro Temirkanov’s prize.

Participant of the Rostropovich foundation (where he has been given a special “Sviatoslav Richter award”)

Participant of “Saint Petersburg Music house” concert programs, Larisa Gergieva Festival, Mariinsky international piano festival. In summer of 2016 and 2017 he took part in “Verbier academy” and won the special prize for the best pianist. And now he has solo recitals around the world. He played with many orchestras such as Minnesota Symphony orchestra, Fort Worth symphony orchestra, Mariinsky orchestra,”North symphony” orchestra, St.Petersburg state academic philharmonic orchestra and others. And conductors such as Mei-Ann Chen, Fabio Mastrangelo, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Zaurbek Gugkaev, Alexander Titov, Alexander Skulsky, Dmitry Liss, Mark Russell Smith, Ian Hobson and others.
