Biography
Stephen Jones is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and he is an alumnus of Morgan State University, where he majored in music education. His musical gift to sing has allowed him many opportunities including, traveling as a member and one of the lead soloist for the renown Morgan State University Choir, throughout the world. Some of his extensive travel include performing in Rome, Russia, Japan, Czech Republic and Africa.
Pastor Jones furthered his musical career as musical director at Dunbar Senior High School where he was also the choral director. He has done many recordings with the Morgan State Choir, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Jones Brothers, and is currently recording with Richard Smallwood and Vision.
Pastor Jones was called to the ministry in the year 2000 and began pastoring the Greater Hope COGIC in 2006. He became superintendent of the Roosevelt Jones district under the late Bishop David W. Spann and now serves as the Jurisdictional Minister of Music for the Greater Maryland 1st Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ. He is currently a student at the New Shiloh Biblical Institute for religious studies
