Trio Bamberg

About group

When the press reports about „historic moments of chamber music“ (Badische Neueste Nachrichten, Karlsruhe), „Encounter with three Olympians“ (Nürnberger Nachrichten), „World Class Standard“ (Fono Forum), „volcanic temperament“ (FAZ) or „extremely fervent“ (Frankfurter Rundschau) it spells Trio Bamberg.

The Trio Bamberg has performed in nearly all major German cities like Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Dresden, Hamburg as well as in many international capitals like Brussels, Barcelona, Bergen, Ljubljana, Naples, Osaka, Shanghai, Riad, São Paulo…
Extensive concert tours brought the trio to South-Africa, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Saudi-Arabia, Norway and South America.

The Bamberg Trio is numbered among the top ensembles and is regularly invited by international music festivals like the Schleswig-Holstein-Musik-Festival, the International Music Festival at Echternach, the Rheingau Music Festival and the Beethovenfest in Bonn. The CD productions of the trio were highly praised by the musical press and the audience.

The recording of Trios by Schnittke and Schostakowitsch won the German Grammy Award.
