About group

Three passionate musicians having roots in Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Austria, Russia, Mexico, Croatia and Turkey, came together in Vienna with a common vision. They have taken it upon themselves to conquer the music world as Trio Klavis, in the unique formation of piano, violin and saxophone.

Trio Klavis has been performing at the most prestigious concert halls in Austria including ORF Radiokulturhaus and MuTh, as well as being re-invited to the Wiener Musikverein three times within two years. Their debut at the renowned Grafenegg Festival was in June 2014. They recently performed at the Turkish International Gümüşlük Classical Music Festival and had their Germany Debut in Gasteig Munich with great success. In 2016 they will release their Debut-CD „Geography of Sound“ (Label Orlando).

Upcoming concerts include Russia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, among them concerts at the Tonhalle Zurich and the Philharmonia Saint Petersburg.

With their unique programs that include works by Haydn, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Khachaturian and Piazzolla, they are able to please a young audience as well as experienced music lovers. Making their own arrangements and compositions, the trio performs also works written especially for them by world renowned composers such as Aleksey Igudesman, Hyung-ki Joo and Richard Dubugnon.

The name Trio Klavis derives from the German: "Klavier, Violine, Saxophon".
