Vladimir SLOVACHEVSKY, cello
Vladimir is a laureate of international competitions in Paris, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Voronezh. At present he studies in Music and Fine Arts Academy in Vienna. His teachers are St.Kropfitsch (Vienna), I.Shakhovskaya (Moscow),V.Naydenov (Saint-Petersburg). Musician has got a stipend of «New names» program, as well as K.Orbelyan, V.Spivakov and M.Rospropovich foundations. He has an active concert life in Russia and abroad. In 2007/2008 season he has won II prize in Osaka (Japan) and III prize in M.Yudina International ensemble competition (in duet with St.Solovyev). In October 2007 he made his debut with St.Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra performing Sain-Saens cello concerto. For three years has been performing recitals in the Small Hall of Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic.
