Anna MAKAROVA, harp

Finished Ten-year secondary school (I.Shipulina) and graduated from the Sanct-Petersburg State Conservatory (prof.A.Varosyan). Anna is the laureate All-USSR (Leningrad, 1989) and International (Israel, 1994) competitions. At present – the First Harp of St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. In her solo repertoire there are more than twenty concerts for harp with orchestra, including Haendel, Debussy, Glier. Anna frequently performs in different ensembles (diverse by their composition). Regularly takes part in prestigious international festivals – in Italy, Spain, Germany and Finland. Performed with orchestras: Israeli Filarmonic (Z.Meta); Prague, Frankfurt and Tel Aviv conservatory orchestras, and others.
