Liana ISAKADZE
(violin)


The musical life of the Georgian violinist Liana Isakadze started at the age of 3, as she began to compose musical pieces. 7 years old she took violin lessons at Tiflis at the "Central Music School for Gifted Children" and at the age of 10 she already played at the International Music Festival in Moscow, where she was discovered by David Oistrach, who insisted to bring the "Wonderchild from Georgia" to Moscow. At 14 years she was allowed to participate in the Violin Competition of the USSR thanks to an exceptional permit. This competition is the assistant to David Oistrach at the Moscow Conservatory.

During that time she won numerous international violin.

Liana Isakadze is repeated state prize winner of the

USSR and she was the youngest musician in the history of

the USSR to obtain the title "All Peoples Artist of the
USSR" in 1988.

From 1981 to 1996 she was conductor and artistic director of the Georgian State Chamber Orchestra. In 1990 she brought this orchestra to Ingolstadt (Germany) and aided by the city of Ingolstadt as well as the AUDI AG she founded in Ingolstadt in 1992.

She launched numerous international music festivals, such as "Night Serenades" at the Black Sea, "Musicians Have Fun" in Moscow, "Chamber Music Festival" at Eichstatt (Germany), "Festival of Art" at Borjomy (Georgia)

Liana Isakadze gave guest performances as soloist and conductor and played chamber music at all important concert halls and music festivals in the world, Hundred of records, CD-s and TV shows have been produced by various companies.
