German Soprano Felicitas Fuchs studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Ian Kennedy and was later accepted to the Young Artist Programme in Switzerland with Kurt Widmer.

Felicitas Fuchs has benefited from prestigious master classes with teachers such as Kurt Widmer and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. She was the winner of the 2006 "La Voce" Lied-Competition, held by the Bavarian Broadcasting Association in Bad Kissingen.

A versatile concert artist and committed recitalist, Felicitas has performed at renowned places such as Philharmonie Warschau, Herkulessaal München and has been a welcome guest at many national and international festivals.

She performed concerts in the famous Royal Albert Hall, among them, J. Haydn’s “The Creation” and H. Berlioz’s “Requiem” conducted by Sir Colin Davis.

Under the baton of “Enoch zu Guttenberg” she performed Handel´s “Messiah” at the Philharmonie in Munich and the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.
With the OSAKA Philharmonic Orchestra she performed Haydn’s "Jahreszeiten", touring through South Africa/"Cape Classic" and Singapore.

She was invited to St. Petersburg, performing Mahler's Symphony No.8 with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra under Nikolai Alexeev.

Based on the huge success with the Mozart Requiem Felicitas Fuchs was immediately invited again to perform with St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra in St. Petersburg in May 2010. She will be singing Russian songs in memory of the 60th anniversary of the victory during World War II.

She recently discovered 20th century and contemporary compositions and is now in close working relationship with many of the leading contemporary composers like Manfred Trojahn, Moritz Eggert, Jörg Widmann, and Wolfgang Riehm. In 2007 Felicitas gave a world premiere of Aribert Reimann’s Lied-Cycle.

Felicitas Fuchs has already amassed considerable professional experience both on the concert and opera stage. Her operatic roles to date have included Gretel (Hänsel and Gretel), Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Pamina (Zauberflöte), Tebaldo (Don Carlos), Oskar (Maskenball) and Pamina at Gärtnerplatz, State Opera München.

As a regular soloist, Felicitas Fuchs has appeared on numerous occasions with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra including "Magic Flute" and "Hänsel and Gretel”, as well as “Mozart Arias” under the baton of James Gaffigan.

Further engagements include concerts with her pianist Bernard Lanskey at La Loingtaine/France and Singapore, Kissinger Sommer, Residenz Würzburg, Pamina/Zauberflöte with the Munich Symphonic Orchestra, Gut Immling.

In 2010 Felicitas Fuchs has performed a world premiere of Andrew Schultz’s composition “Stille Sprache” in Europe, Singapore and Australia and toured throughout China.

A special highlight of that season were two performances at the UNESCO Hall in Paris together with renowned international artists, accompanied by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra under Armine Kouider, emphasizing “VOIX DE LA PAIX L’UNITÉ DANS LA DIVERSITÉ”.
