Irina RODIONOVA

Graduated in 1979 from the faculty of theory and composition of the St.Petersburg State Conservatory where later completed the postgraduate studies. Doctor of Music, author of the articles published in the scientific editions. Co-author and organizer of the international music festivals «Stars of the White Nights» (1993-1999), «Virtuosos of the Year 2000 » (1992-2000), charitable project «Assistance to peers» (Nice – St.Petersburg – Moscow), and also international youth musical projects. Member of the St,Petersburg Composers’ Union. Worked at the St.Petersburg Philharmonia (1981 – 1990, artistic producer of the Grand Hall, 1999 – 2000 – artistic director of the Small Hall), on the Committee on Culture of the St.Petersburg Government (1991-1996). Since January 2006 – adviser to the artistic director of the Philharmonia. Since December 2006 – deputy artistic director of the Philharmonia, artistic director of the Grand Hall.
