Biography

Dimitry’s bright individual voice, handsome appearance, virtuosity, his sincerity and charm attract the attention of the art amateur mainstream audience. 
His career was dynamic and illustrious. He performed at the Bolshoi (Moscow) and then he was on a course at the Teatro alla Scala. He won the Grand-Prix of the International Young Opera Singers Competition in Verviers ((Belgium) in 1987, the golden and silver medals of the Bastianini international contest in Siena (Italy) in 1988 and in the Verdi Voices contest in Busseto (Italy) in 1988. He also became a Carlo Alberto Cappelli contest winner (among the international competition winners) on the stage of Arena di Verona (Italy).
Since 1989, the singer has been living and working in Western Europe though carrying on the traditions of the glorious Russian vocal school having sung on the world-known stages such as La Scala (Milan), the Metropolitan Opera (New York), Bastille Opera (Paris), Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires), the Covent Garden Royal Opera House (London). 
He collaborated with such opera divas and stars as Irina Arkhipova, Elena Obrastzova, June Anderson, Leona Mitchell, Denyce Graves, Vladimir Atlantov, Zurab Sotkilava, Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Ruggero Raimondi, José Cura, and Giuseppe Di Stefano.
